Meet your teacher
Hello, my name is Carter Hafif and I’ve had many titles over the course of my life. To name a few: environmentalist, geologist, instructor, photographer, guide, and many more.
With nearly 10 years of practice in field geology, and 15+ years of wilderness experience, I am eager to share with you the story of our local geology.
After graduating with a degree in Geology & Environmental Science from the University of Pacific, I felt called to participate in something larger. To help us remedy the effects of anthropomorphic climate change. What better way than to reestablish our connection with nature, through education and imagery. I soon found Nature Reconnection with Chad, and knew my passions could become reality. To empower the next generation with a set of tools, and reestablish our connection with this planet.
Nature is not something for us to trample through or on. Nature is the other half of our existence. This mentality has shaped our organization and our classes. This course is a testament to our mission: to educate our community about the earth, and its processes, so we can cherish the connection between luxury and nature.
